eduardo altamirano(MX 92) is an independent designer currently based in Switzerland. in 2024 he graduated with honours from the MAF in product design at écal under the guidance of erwan bouroullec & camille blin. since 2017 he has been actively working in the three dimensional world under the pseudonym of en la superficie. 
his practice constantly strives to combine hyper-local landscapes with the use of advanced manufacturing techniques for the production of various material experiments, which sometimes lead to industrial design pieces, limited editions, and self-initiated productions.
