this bench was originally designed for the collection "design in pine", an initiative by swedish wood (svenskt trä) organization, which aims to promote swedish pine in the chinese market and manufacture . the fabrication was developed by the cabinet maker gustav larsson.
the result was exhibited in september along with another series of furniture developed by carl malmsten furniture studies students at the china international furniture fair (ciff) in shanghai.
