Extraños2020
Extraños was a collective show that delves into the act of eating. Beyond cultural and political aspects, eating is a necessity. However, we do little to assimilate certain ethical understandings about our relationship with food.

Through food waste and reclaimed elements, a tangible reflection is made about the respect for raw materials, natural resources, and their future. Do we produce more or waste less?

Within my intervention in the show, I envisioned a correlation between furniture design and the food industry.
For these sculptures, discarded material from my studio was arranged with food waste immersed in gelatin shapes made from upcycled water to show the amount of liters needed to produce each piece of fruit: 1 apple (70 liters), 1 orange (70 liters), 5 blueberries (20 liters).a cultural and political act, it is a necessity beyond whim. however, we do little to assimilate certain ethical understandings about our relationship with food.

His practice constantly strives to combine hyper-local landscapes with the use of advanced manufacturing techniques to produce various material experiments, which often lead to industrial design pieces, limited editions, and self-initiated projects.
